Getting it together.

It has been so long since I've updated. I need to take more care of this blog!

I've decided to run a 5k the day after my birthday- April 14th. That is roughly five weeks away. I need to buckle down on my 'training.' I haven't been very committed to it. So far I can get to 3.77 miles in 60 minutes. I really bad want to finish the 5k in under 36 minutes. With the 60 minute time I was jogging and walking. In five weeks I'm hoping to be able to jog/run the entire thing. Even today I feel like I'm able to walk faster.

I did work out today. I felt great. I used to not appreciate having a workout buddy, but I really do love it. I walked with Jori for about two miles and then we did some weight machines. I feel great. Actually, before I went I was feeling really sick, like I was going to throw up. I've come to the conclusion that it is because of this energy stuff I take and I get sick feeling if I don't use up the energy, like if I just lounge around. I don't feel sick at all any more!

I found out that I got a 91 on my Statistics test! :) wOOT! I'm doing well in all my classes so far, however I'm worried about my upcoming Accounting test.

This week I need to focus on my Macroeconomics class! I have a test on Thursday. I also have a Speech presentation on Thursday that I need to work on. Well, that stresses me out a little!

Today I went to Wal-Mart after finding out that I had quite a bit of money, well, more than I thought! :) I bought some primer, which I read is really helpful. I got a redness reducing one. My skintone is naturally really red. So, hopefully that helps! I also got some new under eye concealer. I don't actually own any normal concealer though. I want to buy some berry coloured lip stick, but nothing really caught my eye. Finally I bought two magazines, All You and Family Circle. I have a magazine weakness.

I'm rereading the 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens. That is seriously my all-time favorite book. I think it is a bit funny that I'm in my last year as a teen and this feels like the one time that I'm getting my act together.
